Corcovado National Park – San Pedrillo Station

1 Day

San Pedrillo Station of Corcovado National Park holes some of the most ancient trees in all of the park. Hike around unexplored beaches, and adventure into the rainforest in search of the beautiful waterfalls in a primary forest.

Location: The station sits right on the beach. This requires a “wet landing,” meaning the boat stops near the shore and you must wade through shallow water.

The Trails: A network of trails takes you through both primary (old-growth) and secondary (regrown) rainforests. You can hike to streams, rivers, and the popular San Pedrillo Waterfall.

Wildlife: It is an excellent spot for birdwatching. You can also see monkeys, sloths, tapirs, and coatis.
