Covid 19 Costa Rica Travel Insurance and Entry Requirements

Covid 19 Travel Insurance, Testing and Entry Requirements for Costa Rica

Great News! All Covid 19 Restrictions and Entry Requirements have been lifted! However, we still highly recommend travel insurance to cover your trip.

Insurance Options

Insurance policies purchased from Trawick International are the most popular because of their affordable rates and easy purchase. Trawick offers the Safe Travels Voyager plan for US residents. The mandatory $2,000 accommodation coverage is included under Trip Delay. This policy fulfills all requirements to enter Costa Rica.

For travelers not living in the USA, Trawick has two plans. These plans meet all Costa Rica’s requirements as well. They are the Safe Travels International plan and Safe Travels International Cost Saver plan.

Upon purchase of any of the above policies, you will receive a visa letter that you can upload using this link – https://salud.go.cr – to the Costa Rica Health Pass website and complete the required paperwork to get your QR code to show airport authorities upon arrival to Costa Rica.
