The Floating Tour offers you a very unique way to enjoy the nature bonanza of Drake Bay, Costa Rica. As you hike and float along, you may spot a variety of wildlife including monkeys, sloths, lizards, and many species of tropical birds.
Your journey begins at 8 AM from the main town of Drake Bay. You take a 30-minute car ride until we reach the starting point. We then begin a 2-hour hike through pristine primary forest until we reach an amazing waterfall deep in the jungle.
We spend approximately 30 minutes swimming at the waterfall before we continue our journey by floating down the river. It takes approximately one and a half hours to float down the river until we reach Rio Claro Beach.
Once at Rio Claro beach, we have drinks and snacks, and then walk for approximately 30 minutes to a nearby beach and take the car back to town.
The tour concludes around 1:30 PM.
