We offer several different ways to see the magnificent birds of Drake Bay for all birding enthusiasts:

Early Morning or Late Afternoon Drake Bay Bird Watching Tour: This tour leaves at 5:30 am or 3:30 pm with your professional birdwatching guide. This is a leisurely walk of 2.5 hours through forests, gardens and beaches to see an abundance of birds including hummingbirds, woodpeckers, scarlet macaws, toucans, hawks, tanagers, birds of prey, and more. $55 per person

Full Day Drake Bay Bird Watching Tour: You can take our Corcovado National Park Tour or our Mangrove Tour with a private guide and an emphasis on birdwatching or take a full day hike starting from the town, also with a professional bird watching guide. Osa Peninsula Pelagic Seabird Bird Watching Tour: This unique birdwatching tour takes you out onto the glorious Pacific Ocean to see the pelagic sea birds of the Osa Peninsula. You can choose between a three-hour coastal trip which includes visiting a small island with thousands of birds or an all day offshore trip which includes dolphins and perhaps even whales! The Coastal Birdwatching Tour is $70 per person with a minimum of 4 people and our Offshore Pelagic Birdwatching Tour is $155 per person with a 4-person minimum. If you do not have 4 persons in your group, ask us about a flat rate.
